Rania Gaspo earned her Pharmacy Degree and her PhD at University of Montreal, Faculty of Pharmacy. She served as a Post-Doctoral fellow in cardiovascular research before moving into industry in 1998 as a Senior Scientist within a Research Unit where she developed pre-clinical models for safety and efficacy of various compounds and toxicology screens. Rania joined Pfizer in 2003 where she held positions with increasing responsibilities in medical information, clinical development, and medical affairs in various therapeutic areas such as oncology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, rare disorders, neuroscience and pain. She also served as a guest speaker for 24 years at University of Montreal and gave lectures to pharmacy, optometry, and chemistry students. Rania also authored / co-authored approximately 25 peer-reviewed publications and 40 scientific communications.
In her current role as Director, Global Therapy Area Lead, Rania leads a team of experienced Medical Information Managers within Neuroscience and Pain category leadership in US, Canada and globally.
